FIFA 17 Market Crash Predictions Calendar
While there will be events throughout the year that cause smaller crashes, such as top TOTW releases (that can only be predicted closer to the time), in this guide we're going to be focusing on the main promotions that affect the entire transfer market.
FUT United
Predicted release:
Part one: Sunday, November 13th until Wednesday, November 16th, 2016.
Part two: Wednesday, February 15th until Wednesday, February 22nd, 2017.
The FIFA 17 FUT United promotion has previously resulted in the first huge market crash in the FUT calendar. This should be the case again this year, especially if the pack weights are as high as last year! Everyone seemed to be packing informs and top rated cards for a few days. Add Sunday, November 13th – 16th to your FIFA 17 Calendar, as it's now one of the most significant in FUT.
Black Friday
Predicted release: Friday, November 25th until Sunday, November 27th, 2016.

Cyber Monday
Predicted release: Monday, November 28th, 2016.

Predicted release: Sunday, December 18th, 2016 until Wednesday, January 4th, 2017.

Players that feature in the FIFA 17 TOTY should slightly increase in price as their regular card is no longer available in packs. It's still very wise to invest during the TOTY!
St. Patrick's Day
Predicted release: Thursday, March 16th until Tuesday, March 21st, 2017.
Many Irish players will increase in price. With this comes a lot of investments being made and hence a lot of market fluctuations with Irish items. Invest in popular Irish players during market crashes and sell before the promotion actually starts for maximum profits (before others). Other players may trend 5-10% lower over this period.
FUT Birthday
Predicted release: Tuesday, March 21st until Tuesday, March 28th, 2017.
There's historically been no major market crash as such, player prices can typically trend 5-10% lower over the St. Patrick's Day and FUT Birthday promotions.
Community Week
Predicted release: Saturday, April 22nd, until Saturday April 29th, 2017.
Historically, there is a slight decline in player prices throughout the duration of the FIFA Community Week promotion. At the end of this period a temporary recover is evident, but we're talking small margins here. It is important to take into account that player prices gradually decrease overall from the start of a FIFA title, until the next title is released. Selling before FIFA 17 Community Week begins and buying back at its conclusion should fetch you small profits, but we wouldn't necessarily jump on this opportunity.
TOTS – Team of the Season
Predicted release: Saturday, April 29th, until Wednesday, July 26th, 2017.
Look out for the big releases, there will be large market fluctuations before, during and after these releases. The big releases include the top leagues and are typically from late April until mid May.
