More drama ( but not in story form)
I know drama happens. started with one hot head and clique of friends left. Then more anger with another happened. Then Frustrations got the best of people.
Then another is like,
"We are all Target Team members, but me and my close friends are going to work for Wall mart this week, without a notice. We still are Target members, but just thought you'd like to know" From a business stand point to make plans to go raid with another guild ( ID/HK) is not being part of the guild. At this point its NOT even a TEAM PLAYER!! This is the principle of what happened. Your no longer a TARGET TEAM MEMBER to go TO WALLMART and stock shelves to help them out.
If you join the guild be there for the guild!! If RL stuff happens is one thing, new game got your interest another. Being part of the guild is being a team player. In most cases it is like a marriage, you shouldn't cheat on them for raiding content your doing. A merge is much the same principles. You don't go and work for another guild's raid. Its one thing to set out plans with the GL and talk to em AHEAD OF time WITH NOTICE, but wrong to just go ahead, decided to and work for the other company. If it don't work out then talk it over or... More

The Guild Drama Story
Using Characters from The Guild (tm -Feliceaday) Drama stories of recent events.
A new 10-man came out and The Guild needed to recruit more members. Vork typically takes on all tasks sfor the guild himself, because to much drama happens. "Vork you can't take on everything, you will burn out!" Codex exclaims sincerely. "I can't let Bladez recruit , he will get in dooshbag teanage punks?!?!?" Vork barks out. "Lame?!?" Bladez yells," You can't even give me a chance, Vork!?!" Bladez realiates in defensive tones. "You should give him a chance you only follow Codex's advise,Vork your power tripping" Tink chaffs Vorks ass all the time and corrects his power trip thinking. "I'm the Guild leader?!?"Vorks exclaims," Since how am Power tripping? how can I usurp my own authority? That's like Saying Bill Gates can't power trip over Microsoft!?!?", Vork yells out defending himself. "Vork" Codex direct his attention to a good point" Its ok we just want to help you as a team, You have the ultimate say and follow your wisdom choice.!" Codex always good at keeping morale and nit the guild together tight."Bladez can help with interviewing,Clara will keep him in check for you!" Codex solved all the... More

Status Quo
Its never about being popular. If your going that way your doing it wrong. If you worry how ppl think of you. You have then a problem of who worships who issue.Do they love me more then you? It shouldnt matter. Do they respect you more then me? Thats all jeoulsy. It should never be about who is favored the most. There is however one Executive descion above all in the guild, if they run it that way.The guild is in the guild leaders image its never meant to change into yours. There is nothing immoral if they don't follow your image ideals.
If you open up for people to decide/vote you opens up doors for power tripped ppl to mutiny. You can allow ppl to give suggestions, opinions, feedback, and if you wish give polls. If you've founded upon that you have deciding factor then thats your call as leader.Foundational means it cannot be moved by force. Either way you wish to move the foundation you have to rebuild.Ir one wishes it to be rebuilt/change it then they can go and build themselves what they will. Its never a persons place to usurp authority in a guild.
If the clique of status quo doesnt want the back end work to build a guild from ground up . Its not there place to use another to make it their own.If... More

Guilds
To all those out there, To have a guild or run a guild keep true to its foundation. If its led by democracy then so be it. If led by hyarchy so be it. Each guild has its own religion so to speak. Don't let members dictate how it should be, or tell you what to do(n't). They can suggest , voice opinions but not coerice, or get ppl to force your hand with numbers(members). If you become a officer still uphold its roots, and not turn on each other. GL/RL/MT if founded has the full rights to make or break the rules as he sees fit. Only if its immoral then can it be refuted. Either way each GL/RL has there own ways and if its not your way tough.(bad omen to go against it, I have learned that lesson well.)Only in mergers does it comprmosie, adapt or change but not by force only by consent. If you get a clique of friends into guild don't let them think they can over rule you, they should make there own guild. Once in they cannot think to make it their own because they out number or have number or persuade others into their following.Esepcially if one so strongly doesnt see eye to eye with you. Also don't let a OT think they are a leader, and you have no choice in the matter. There is no "whether you like it or not"... More

Mercenaries
Founded in March 2009. After havving no choice out of Prophets to make a new guild. We sought to hold a battlekeep in AOC. We started to become a raiding guild as well. Raiding from the ground up with just me. WE've had hard times but kept enduring to keep presing forth. Until AOC took a nose dive of palyerbase we then sought to give Rift a go. Rift still Going Strong. Though ups and downs of mountains to surpass we've still managed to progress. Dispite ppl come and go, we still will strive to succeed. No matter how much it takes to rebuild. Our motto is to never give up, get back on our feet and keep on moving. Mercenaries don't die, we keep going and going. Best thing is to work past any situation and make the best of where your at!
