Other Fortnite Game Modes

When most people speak about Fornite, they are referencing its most popular online game mode, which is known as battle royale.

Many people might not realise the game actually features 2 other game modes, one of which isn’t as widely available on all platforms.

Originally Fornite was released with battle royale and another mode known as “save the world”. Save the world is a co-op game for up to 4 players where the team are tasked with fighting against creatures that resemble zombies. The building mechanic that people love from battle royale is still available in save the world mode.

A third game mode called “Fortnite Creative” was later released. Fortnite Creative is a sandbox game mode that gives players the freedom to play around and experiment with all of the game features and create different games to their liking.

Fortnite: Save the World is only available on PS4, Xbox One, PC and Mac so players won’t be able to play this one on their mobile devices or the Nintendo Switch. Creative can be accessed on the same devices listed above for the battle royale mode.
