An act of human nature, people have a proclivity for making things more convenient for themselves. Same goes for gamers. Sometimes the hurdles and the map designed in the game is not enough for your everyday average gamer.
Most are there for the sheer experience of doing stuff they wouldn’t otherwise be able to do if it wasn’t virtual reality. Now, players worldwide or even a group of friends online can be playing together at any time. Cheating has become a common practice for gamers in order to gain quick level ups or even when the high score needs to be matched. That is especially the case for games like PUBG and candy crush.
Few other games keep online purchases as an option in the game which entitles players with money to make any actual development in the game. This is when gamers who do not share the same advantage feel the need to cheat in order to even the scores.
Sometimes, cheating may simply become a form of compensation to any lacking in the game itself. Games that take too long for a player to reach a high score or where there is just too many obstacles that take a high level of skill may give rise to the realm of the cheat code.

Although, playing a game filled with carnage with a cheat code that makes you the danger might seem fun but in other scenarios that may end up ruining the game for others. Therefore gamers need to find a way to make the game as less cheatable as possible. Games need to be made secure because a game that can be easily pirated can also be corrupted. Viruses and Trojan ware can latch on to your server and lead to even greater piracy of property.
A solution to piracy and cheating would be to educate gamers on the consequences of cheating in gaming for both parties. That scenario still remains difficult, given the fact that gamers might still insist on cheating to win.
Online video gaming involving other players can also be perceived as a ‘Esports’ and cheating in the game only reveals a ‘spoiled sport’, pun intended!
