I love this.. I had typed out a very long explanation for the people who couldn't understand how to sign up for the site (even the most quote on quote "techies" couldn't figure it out) I don't understand how difficult it is, really... but this video should help all the lazy people who refuse to read.. and trust me.. there are plenty. Thank you for this video! if they don't understand it after that.. there's no hope for them!
Our applications have more functionality than a regular forum registration. You can create an account, apply for member level access, and bypass the process using a Launch Code or fill out a full blown form based application all in one process. Because of this the application requires about 2 extra steps over a traditional forum registration.
We've made the process as clear and focused as we can while still incorporating this advanced functionality by listening to a lot of user feedback, but it does at times require that people actually read something.
