How about recovering lockbox topics and posts? An unruley individual named Krennan Aranas has erased all topics in our forums and removed all our members. So rather than waste my time stooping to his level, I'm trying to help rebuild. Please help, thanks.
You've probably heard countless pleads like thus before but I'm going to be frank now. I dont feel that I have to pay money out of my pocket to subscribe for a feature to restore ALL of my guilds forums just because some abnoxious fool went on a revenge conspiracy and deleted EVERYTHING! Find it in your heart lad, isn't there some way someone can just restore our forums for us? That's all I'm asking. I'm not asking for the head of the perpetrator. All i want is just to restore what was lost. Would yoy really slash at my own pocket to PAY you to restore it? It's just criminal. And if you want to ramble on about procedures and rules and that you can't make exceptions then fine, but at least you can live with the fact that your system isn't secure anymore and that there are people unlike me who lack honor and dignity. What would drive someone to dryly and harshly erase any entire guilds forums and members list out of rivalry? You would make me pay you for that? Where's the morality and self respect in that?
The only way a user can delete site information is if he is given the permissions to do so - the only person who begins with admin and moderator permissions on a guild site is the site creator. I'm sorry that someone abused the positions they were given by the site owner of this particular guild site, but the morality of the deletion is something that would need to be taken up with the person who actually deleted the content.
So what you're telling me Is that I have to pay money out of my own pocket to right the wrongs of a scoundrel? Isn't there anyway you could just recover the posts. It's right there. What's the issue?
I have a lockbox that is not pruning every 45 days. The lockbox has forum posts back to 2009. The site states: This is our full featured subscription site. Is there something I am missing about the pruning feature that I need to upgrade to get rid of the old posts? Manually running the pruning feature does not remove them.
