Can you send me the GuildLaunchProfiler.lua that you are uploading? I have a feeling there is something that needs to be translated.

ok, whats is your mail to send de file?
i had the same problem but when i first did it i had to disable all other addons and just have that running. and uh in the readme it said just open your bags and such.. is there any conformation message when it gets the data? and when i tried to upload my data it said i needed like a higher version but its the one i downloaded from the page to upload the bank.
Bezike,
The most common reason people receive the "Use the current version" message is that they try to upload the mod file instead of the file in the "WTF" folder. Or they try to upload the wrong file from the WTF folder. Look at the path on the upload page very closely.
You go into the WTF folder, then your account folder, then the server folder, then the character name folder, then the saved variables folder and there is a file in there to upload.
I'm not sure why you would need to run this mod alone. I run it with about 20 other mods. Though its always possible you're running a mod that I am not and it has some conflict.
You should receive confirmation that the data is gathered for most operations that require you to perform a task. Basic character info is gathered when the mod first loads. It can also be forced to gather the info again by right clicking on your portrait and choose Gather Guild Launch Profile. You don't need to open your bags to profile that info. You do need to open your bank, and you will receive a message relating to it.

i think you're getting turned around:
Extract the mod into: /Interface/Addons/GuildLaunchProfiler/
The mode creates a file in /WTF/<Account>/<Server>/<CharacterName>/SavedVariables/
Upload the file in WTF after you login, gather the info, then logout.
There shouldn't be any cutting and pasting involved.
