This video shows you how to add YouTube videos and other embeddable media into your custom pages using our HTML editor.
p.s. Yes, I say "ummm" a few times, but I'm not using a script. I'm "just doing it live" as Bill O'Reilly would say.

How do you access the HTML editor? do you need admin? I'm actually trying to post a video recorded by the same host you used to record this demo. WeGame.com
The HTML editor isn't available in the forums. Just use the Extra BBCode Extension dropdown. Fore WeGame you just paste the URL into the post, then select it and then use the dropdown. Done.

On a post the dropdown is above the text box you type into and says "Extra BBCode Extensions" next to it.

I am trying to create a custom page for my LS's ls videos and I can't seem to get videos from dailymotion/wegame to come up yet dispite clicking on preview window. what am I doing wrong?
PS youtube works fine, but I hate that site after google took over. really like this wegame site.

i would like to know how to add a playlist of music to my site. i have an account at playlist.com can i use that or is there a certian site i have to go to .

Use an HTML widget. Edit the widget using the link at the top of the widget when it appears on your site. Then click the "HTML" button on the Editor to edit the HTML directly. Paste the embed code for "any other site or your own personal site" into the window that pops up. Click the Upadate button on the popup, then the Update Content button.
You're done.

I have been having a problem with linking videos and just in general formatting posts on the forums.
So on forums, I use the drop down window to select the you tube option.
I see text in the box saying "[youtubevideo][/youtubevideo]"
So i tried posting the link below it. Did not work. The video did not load.
I tried posting the link above the text and it did not work.
As someone who knows nothing about HTML etc, can someone pls dumb it down for me and tell me in clear precise steps what to do.
I have the same problem with text too. Its a nightmare setting font size, color etc for the text in the forums. I don't have the same problem with website page creation. But on forums all i see is the code and when i hit submit, I see my text plus the code written there. Its gettin a bit frustrating

YouTube doesn't allow the High Quality videos to be embedded. They deliver the lower quality video for embeds always. As of the last time we checked there was no workable way that would get around it.
The best option is to link to the video below the embed. We may start doing that automatically at a later point.
