Possible to recover old guildlaunch site?
Do you guys keep any archives of old guildlaunch sites? I had a WoW guild on guildlaunch back in the 2008-2010 era, and if it were recoverable I'd love to see the forums for it.
Sorry for the delay - I think your message might have gotten swamped by a spam attack, so I've only just seen it :P I think you might by lucky for a site still to be around for that length of time. I know that they don't just "delete" sites out of hand - generally they have to have been unvisited for quite a period of time. But 10-12 years probably exceeds their safe time limit :P
Do you remember the site/guild name?

No problem. The guild name was "Resistance is Futile", and the URL was borg.guildlaunch.com. One of my old guildies attemped to dig up the site last year, and created a new "borg.guildlaunch.com" that got archived to "glremoved2borg.guildlanuch.com"....that's not the one I'm looking for. It's older than that by a long shot. :)

Unfortunately, I think it's fairly unlikely then that your original site forums exist any longer. Once your website is inactive for a certain length of time, it gets transferred to the "glremoved" url so that the original site name can be used by someone else. In theory, if you had logged in during that time, you might have been able to recover the site and use a new url, however, as someone else then created a new website with the same url, I suspect that your original one got overwritten.
There is still a (very small) chance that they have your original site in the depth of their backups .. the only way to know is to contact them via email.
