Application form WoW Armories URL broken

It appears that the url automatically generated by anyone filling in an application for our WoW guild is no longer valid.

For example, we've just had someone apply and the url to his Armories SHOULD be:

https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/eu/lightbringer/lazo

What is actually generated, and thus does not work, is:

http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/Lightbringer/lazo/

Could this be fixed please?

Thanks for letting us know! I've taken a look and I think I can get it fixed. It's more complicated than just changing the URL because of how they changed the order of things, of course.

Yes you can delete my test application.

It should retroactively update. It'd be odd if it did not, just because of how that page loads everything.

This update is out and looks like it retroactively updated those links for you!

I'll see what happens next time someone applies .. it doesn't appear to have worked retroactively.  I checked a few recents and they're still going to the wrong url.

For example:

http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/Lightbringer/lazo/
http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/character/Lightbringer/lloa/

instead of:

https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/eu/lightbringer/lazo
https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-gb/character/eu/lightbringer/lloa

I've just gone to test again and all the URLs have updated for me. I sent another test application to see if it was just pending that wasn't showing the correct URL, but all the links are using the new URL for me. The only thing I can think of is you need to do a hard refresh to force a cache update. Could you send me a link or screenshot of the page you are seeing this? Maybe I fixed a different page and not the one you were referring too in the first place.

I can see your application and the link works correctly, and I've had another "proper" application since then .. and that link is correct too.  It's just the retrospective ones that haven't been fixed .. but I can live with that.  They've been dealt with and closed anyway.

A screenshot is difficult, because I'm not sure how to take a screenshot of a hoverlink :p  I can right click the link from the forum post generated by the application, and post that (which is what I've done previously) and I can link the comparitive ACTUAL Armories link .. but not sure how to screenshot a link I've not yet followed :p

However, as I said, I'm okay with new applications working .. retrospectively doesn't matter too much.
