Custom Pages display issue

I have set my widgets to not be visible in custom sections.  However, the left hand widget area still seems to be there on my custom pages.  It indents the right hand side and screws up the formatting I'm trying to do.  Is there anyway to set a page to be full size(like you can do with forums)?

Second, I am trying to get either bulleted lists, or numbered lists.  They show up in editing, but when published, they are missing.  Am I doing something wrong?

That extra space is space for an ad. You can turn off your ad-block to see it in action. You would need to start a paid subscription too remove the ads from your site.

As for Bulleted Lists, that's an unfortunate side effect of our base CSS used across the site. You could possibly use the !important modifier in the CSS to force the style you want. Another option is you could use HTML Codes to basically fake it. For example:    •  is  •

I like the site above for things like this, lists out basically anything that's available.
