Wrong name/url association in character list
I have 3 characters as members in 6 different guilds of the same game. In "Character Guild Site Membership" page, they are all claimed, set "show on roster" in all guilds and a primary guild (the same for all) was assigned.
Despite this, in character list (check here ) I see all ccharacters in the same guild (and neither the primary one) even if URLs associated are different (as it should be). How can I fix this?
Do you not have the option to delete any characters you don't want? (this, I believe, just removes them from your character list). There should be two options at the bottom .. one for Site Membership, and one for Delete.
Thanks for answer, first of all. Yes, I could delete all characters from all guilds except the primary one, but in this case the characters wouldn't show in the rosters of the various guilds. This is non-solution because being in the rosters of multiple guild with the same character is one of main purposes of multiple membership feature. Withoug being in a roster, you can't signup for a raid.
Checking better, I think it was really a bug: the only think not working as intended is the "claimed characters" page in the profile ( this page in my case) where there's a mismatch between the names and the links associated. Doing some tests I noticed the name of the guild shown for all links in that page is always that of the guild with the greatest number of members. It's clearly something wrong and unintended, an error in the script building that list. I check profiles of other players with the same characters in multiple guilds and I noticed the same error.
So my question, now, is: Is there a bugtracker where I can report Gamer Launch bugs?
Ah right, gotcha.
I'm not sure there is a specific place to post bugs .. which is strange because I was sure there was, until I checked :P
Certainly worth suggesting though, along with a way to track the progress of dealing with raised cases such as this. I'm sure they probably have one internally, but it would be nice to know what they're already aware of, what they're working on, and what they're not :p
I'd suggest sending them an email direct as, although these are classed as "support" forums, I think it's more intended for users to support each other. GL CS do come on occasionally, but it could be a week or more between visits, depending on how busy they are and if it's holiday season.
Their email is support@gamerlaunch.com
I hope that helps, and I hope you get it resolved.
