"Who's Online" Widget not Displaying Text

The Widget for showing which of my members is currently online has an option yes/no to "Show Avatars", and no other option for display.  It will not display text (User name) unless the mouse hovers over the user's icon.  Why should my members have to move their mouse just to read a list that should be displaying names, with or without the avatars?

Can this be corrected?

I'm seeing this same issue, is there an option to display names that I'm missing, I can only get avatars to display regardless of which option I select. thanks!

You're right .. this no longer appears to be working as intended.  Even the preview within the "add widget" interface shows a demo with a name showing, so at least at some point it did that.  

I've tested both options (showing and not showing avatar) and both give the same result.
