Teamspeak 3 Widget
Hello,
I am having problems with my teamspeak 3 widget. It was working the other day now it is not. It says:
Error Connecting to Server - Double Check Port
and Server Info
All the information is correct and such. I checked, checked and re-checked. Would permissions not being set on server side affect this? I have full control (self hosting) over my server so if there is something I need to do, let me know.
Our server address is teamspeak.106thfleet.com
I have also whitelisted the server address that my registrar points to using the custom domain unless I need to whitelist a different IP address.
There are a few things to check for this.
1. Make sure all the permissions in this FAQ are enabled: http://guildlaunch.uservoice.com/knowledgebase/articles/437834-why-won-t-the-ts3-widget-show-my-ts3-server-inform
2. Add our IP to the server's whitelist: 216.178.226.170
3. Check your firewall settings since it's a self-hosted server to make sure everything is getting through properly.
That's just it. All that stuff is granted, the IP is white listed.
I can connect to the query port just fine with the query client I have and no one has any troubles connecting to the server itself. All ports are open.
Which server group do you mean? The guest group our the guest query group?
I have figured it out. One of the permissions you should add to the list of being activated is "b_virtualserver_select". This got unchecked and it will make the server unreachable by the widget and it will act as if there is a port/address error.
Is there a way to make this widget update sooner than being cached for 6 minutes? Maybe an update interval at say 1 minute?
There isn't currently an option to reduce the cache like you're describing - we keep that active to avoid potentially spamming the server with requests and getting our IP banned from other server hosts.

Tried to do this, but keep getting and vocal error when I do
