For some reason my post count is showing as 16777215, when I just signed up today and have only ever posted once. Is this something I should be worried about? How do I get it to show the correct one?

I have seen the same thing - the post counter for each website seams to show the total posts to all of Guild Launch. Our site is just getting started, so I currently have about 90% of the posts, but the post counter shows that I have .08%

It is a bug caused by the Welcome post being attributed to the guild master, and the guild master's post count not being updated. The fix is the next release that should be out early next week.
