User not getting activation e-mail
Hello:
I have a guild member having an issue with the activation e-mail. He's gone through the process twice, but when he goes to claim his characters or edit his character page it asks for an activation code. The user neither gets the code nor the activation e-mail.
Also, this member is supposed to have officer designation, but when I make the change it isn't applied to the account and they cannot get into guild forums or edit the calendar. This user needs to access the officer forums, calendar, etc.
The other issue is his name contains a non standard character ü alt+129 and the roster is not properly displaying that character. Not as pressing as the other issues, but figured I'd ask. His user name is Waldhuter, but his in game character name is Waldhüter. Not sure if that has something to do with his account issues.

I've verified his account by hand. The email was probably ending up in a spam filter on MSN.
I'm not sure why his account is giving you trouble when adding him to the officer group. When you add him to the group what happens? You hit submit and his name basically disappears from the list? You seem to have added 3 other accounts to that group. Can you be more specific about what happens when you try to add him to the group?
Also, currently it doesn't look like you have set the content rights for the officer group. Click on the Modify link under content rights and you can change what content rights are available for the group, which would include calendar, etc.
We have a change coming out in the next few days that should fix the special characters issue.
If you could give me a bit more info on what happens when you add him to the group that would be great. I'm sure we can track down what's going on pretty quick.
