Stickies and post movement in Forums

I have struggled many long hours to try and figure this out. I need to be able to move specific posts in our forums (not move to another forum, just bump a post up to the top). Is there some way to apply a "sticky" to a post to make it go to the top and stay on the top even when new posts are made? Anything is fine as long as we can move posts in the forum threads. Thank you.

Yes there is.  Assuming you mean sticky the whole thread to the top of the forum section, rather than an individual post in a thread?

When you create a new thread, or when you edit it, there's an option at the bottom right "+Show Options" .. click on that and one of the options is to post as a sticky.

Thank you for the attempt, but sadly, I was asking how to sticky a single post in the forum to the top of the thread.

Unfortunately, we do not have a sticky function for replies to a forum thread. You can sticky a forum thread to the top of a forum section, but not a specific reply within that forum thread. Sorry about that.
