Hiya - I'm wanting to prepare my site for Shadowlands - most is done, however, the new Shadowlands raid doesn't appear to be an option yet on the raid progression widget - is that something that will be activated this coming week, or when the raid comes out?
Is the addon ready to go for Castle Nathria bosses yet?
Brilliant, thank you :-)
Hiya .. we had done a few bosses in Castle Nathria. We did two on Wednesday, Shriekwing and Xymox .. the latter did not track .. but then I realised I was using 9.0.1 of the addon. Updated to 9.0.2 and did two more bosses tonight, Hunstman and Sun King .. and neither tracked.
Thanks for letting us know! With the volume of videos I can now dig through, I've picked out the few last things that needed tweaking to track properly. That update is 9.0.3 and you can find it on WoWInterface! The only boss I'm not really sure about is Sire Denathrius. He does not seem to have a unique death yell to use and it doesn't look like he really triggers the death event we usually use to track. Please let me know if you notice any more.
With how shadowlands got delayed and launched days before Thanksgiving, then Classic Naxxramas released the week after that, plus I'm going through moving, not to mention normal work haha, I'm way behind and haven't gotten level capped and raid ready to go test it all first hand on live. I hope to get in there myself in the next two weeks, hopefully my classic guild friends who also are playing shadowlands can carry me haha.
No worries .. to be honest I wasn't sure if you'd be able to get Sun King because I just couldn't see a unique death yell. I've got the update and we're going again Wednesday & Friday this week, although not necessarily the same bosses .. Nathria is kinda weird the way you can choose routes/boss order.
We do seem to have waited for ages for Shadowlands, and then suddenly it was upon us and it felt like we just didn't have *enough* time - I know I struggled to get geared and levelled in time - and that's just for Normal. Not sure how those going straight into Heroic do it.
Tonight we did:
Shriekwing, Altimor, Hungering Destroyer, Lady Inerva and Artificer Xy'mox.
All tracked apart from Xy'mox.
This is the last thing he yelled before he died:
Artificer Xy'mox yells: This exchange has no further value. Consider our business concluded, for now.
... and tonight Sun King's Salvation didn't track either. It looks like the death "yell" is basically the second time this one is said:
Shade of Kael'thas yells: I am not finished! Let me be free!
It looks like for Artificer Xy'mox, I had the m capitalized in one spot and not others so it wasn't lining up. Hopefully normalizing that will make it line up now.
For Sun King's, I was attempting to just track a normal death of Shade of Kael'thas, but apparently that didn't work. I've now added in that death yell and hopefully it tracks!
Thanks for the info Poisonenvy, you're the best.
Edit: I only implied it, but the update is out on WoWInterface now!
Haha no worries .. right back atcha! Thank you for keeping the addon updated. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one using it :P
We're not likely to be doing many bosses this week .. we've saved it and continuing from Council onwards .. none of which we've done yet. Plus we're only raiding once this week. Weirdly, I suspect many people have other plans on Friday (albeit probably less than expected, as the UK, at least, is having a fairly quiet Christmas this year).
We did Council of Blood tonight, which did not track. Using V9.0.4.
We did Stavros last and his yell was:
Lord Stavros yells: But I am... the life... of the party...
When Niklaus died before him he yelled:
Castellan Niklaus yells: What kind... of strategy... was that...
Baroness Frieda yells: You will always... be beneath me...
They like their little lines of dots ...
BTW .. is there a reason when I go to the progression widget, it's defaulting to BfA raids? Is that something I can change?
Woops! That was a minor detail I forgot about for expansion transitions haha.
For Council of Blood. Can you kill those three bosses in any order? Lord Stavros was always the last one I saw dying in all the kill videos I watched and that was the death yell I was trying to track in the current version. I'll hopefully figure it out.
Yes the Council can be killed in any order. There's a "recommended" order, but no requirement to kill them in that order.
There's probably an achievement somewhere to kill them once in each order :P
