Forum RSS Feeds
Hi - I'm trying to create a message in Discord every time a user makes a post in our guild forums. The problem is that the RSS feed from the forums is cached, and contrary to the notice in the feed that is is a 15 minute cache, it seems to be almost 24 hours. Is there anyway to fix this?
Interesting. I've reviewed the code to be sure, it's definitely running on a 15 minutes cache timer. I've manually visited your News RSS feed and can see the updated cache timer, it updated the cache both times I visited it manually, about 20 minutes apart.
My gut says that something about how your Discord bot that is pulling the RSS Feed isn't triggering the cache update. Hitting the URL of the RSS Feed is what activates the cache update.
Could you provide which URL you are basing this on? I've been looking at and testing with
