Guild Bank FAQs

hi,

I have a little problem with the bank guild (wow) mod.  I've upload GuildLaunchProfiler.lua.

I can see the money, the titles of bags, but when I click on a bag, nothing appends :(

Did I miss a step ?

There is a ticket in the system for our developers to look into it and see what is going on - I'll talk to them and see about bumping it up in priority.

Any info on this issue? I am testing out a site here to see if we want to move our guild to your platform, but bugs like this make it hard to convince our leadership that your platform is stable and issues are handled in a timely manner.

The platform is stable, but there are occasional quirks (as with any system) that can be improved.  I'll remind our developers about it - they've mostly been working on some major features for our new release, but there's a new queue for some Quality of Life changes and I'll see if I can move it over to there.

Just a bit curious but i have had this issue for a while now but when ive uploaded the data to the guild bank when i click on any of the tabs... It doesn't do anything they are just blank.

Now if i click manage items, all of the items are there... So my question is how do i make it so it displays all the items as they are in game?

This should be resolved shortly - there was a bug in the system, but I personally checked the fix in our test environment to make sure it was working. :)  It should be in our next push.

Is there a plan on creating an import?

Sorry for bringing up an old thread (this seems to have been orig. started in 2012), but I have some basic Noobish questions regarding the Banking feature available here at GL:

1. If members interact with the bank page here on the GL-hosted site for our game, are they taking the item or currency from the bank in-game? (Our Leadership is concerned w/hackers accessing our Bank in-game through this site)

2. After adding the Bank page to our GL-hosted site, does it gather information from our real in-game bank automatically, or are there other steps we need to take/activate? (Note: we are playing LoTRO)

Again, sorry for not knowing basic info, but I'm brand new to all this (just signed-up and began working on our GL-hosted site 2-days ago).

Edit: Additionally, there was an earlier post in this thread in which the answer from GL-staff person was that instructions are at the bottom of the Bank page...my current Bank page has only a link titled "FAQ and Instructions", which brings me to this thread.

can i use this tool to upload thinks like my char inventory.. or my char gold ? or do i have to use other way ?
