Removing site from "inactive"
I paid for a year's subscription. There are no subdomains that show up.
My main domains are: www.blackdaggers.net and www.blackdaggers.com .
I cannot figure out how to make the site active again. I logged in from more than one account and tried to figure it out and still nothing.
Any suggestions here?
I can't find them, sorry. Generally sites that have been inactive for some time are moved to a temporary sub-domain to free up the domain name for other users - and during that time you're able to find them again and pull them out of inactivity .. but for some reason I'm unable to find the two you mentioned.
If they should still be around .. ie, they're still within their years subscription time, then I'd suggest getting in touch direct with GL support/billing, because there's obviously been some sort of problem.
If they were out of subs but within 180 days of when the subs expired, then they should still be around, but tagged as inactive, at which point they can be ressurected .. but as I mentioned above, I can't find them so they may have placed them in a different location to where I looked.
If it's been longer than 180 days since the subs expired, and no-one logged into them during that time, then they could well have simply been flagged as abandoned, and been deleted to release space on the servers.
Check out this support post for information on how inactive sites are treated:

And this relating to lapsed subscriptions:
hmmm .. actually ignore that .. sorta .. I can see the sites are still around, but marked as inactive .. so you're fine.
You just need to log in to them .. and check to make sure the domain is correct (normally sites marked as inactive are given a temporary domain name) .. but this one looks different .. possibly because you have your own domain name, and iI'm guessing it's an older version (V4) site.
Site Admin > Dashboard > Manage Site URLs
Thanks for the response!
I have done exactly what you mentioned.
The subscription is paid for, there are no strange sub-domain URLs, and I have logged in to the site from multiple accounts and nothing seems to take it out of inactive, thus my problem.
Any other suggestions?
It is a weird one. Normally I'd be able to find the sites from a site owners profile, under the Stats heading for Sites .. but neither were accessible. One showed up, but when I clicked on it, it took me to the "search for a guild" page, not your site.
If I recall correctly, GL changed servers or something a while back .. it's possible your site is still around but on an older server and the links aren't fully there. Certainly I suspect this is something that Customer Support are probably going to have to look into for you.
When you're on your site, there should be a little chat bubble on the bottom right hand side, to enable you to contact support direct - that's the best and quickest way to contact them. Alternatively there is email, but that doesn't seem to get through very quickly these days, so if you're unable to contact via the chat bubble, reply here (or PM me) and I'll send one through my site, directing them to this thread.
Good luck!
Sorry for the delay, I'm looking into this now. Very odd situation, I'll post again when I have it figured out.
I've manually gone in and reactivated your site. There is still something odd going on with the regular guildlaunch.com link that your profile tries to link too, I am still looking into that. It may clear up as caches clear over the next hour, I am keeping an eye on it.
Long story short, you have a very old account and it has been through many iterations and updates to GuildLaunch. You happen to have found a very odd combination of steps to bring you to this point.
Hey!
I have the same issue. I ran a guild site for an ESO guild 2014-2017, with excellent service and support from guildlaunch!
When I quit as GM and stopped playing, no one really took up the lead, and the site became inactive. But its tons of memories, screenshots, forum threads etc.
Where can I can my "old" guild site? Yes, its been inactive for 2 years now. Sorry :(.
The adress was: http://thenephilim.guildlaunch.com
I hope its there somewhere! Thanks for a great service!
Never mind me. The "Oghur Hatemachine" above is me. I lost all my passwords (dumb chrome thing) and made a new account.
However, I found my proper account and got my pass.
I found the old guild site! Can Only I see it, or anyone?

You will need to go into the admin and change the domain name (remove the glremoved2) then it should be viewable properly.
