OK I need to chime in here, please guild launch team I value you as a highly educated programing team and as such have continued until recently to provide valued service.
A lot of us only use the CT Raid Tracker add-on. At the end of the raid we copy the DKP string and add it to the website. Now we don’t have to go and copy our WTF files or provide a ton of data just to get you to turn the feature back on that you have turned off.
You know how it worked and you are the ones that programed it, and why is there a question of necessity when it comes to the pop up box, it is apparent that it is necessary or we would not be complaining that it is gone and want it back.
At this moment the system is useless, I actually have to enter the data by hand which take time huge amount of wasted time. And to be honest if this doesn’t get repaired my guild will just force me to find another program that is actually working and stop subscribing to guild launch all together. Personally I have too much time and data invested in Guild Launch and our website to just throw it all away. I am begging you please stop with the useless road block and just handle the problem.

Meldagon, Ebbie & Raganar,
Please accept my apologies for our poor communication in regards to this issue. Brian and I did not communicate with you all in the way we should have. We were trying to communicate that another method or way of using the mod may be better suited for entering the amount, not that entering the DKP amount at all was not necessary (though I used that word). We thought the popup was appearing in instances when it should not. We were trying to tease apart when it should and should not appear. The mod may need to be modified to appear for you all when it should, or have a setting turned on. We flubbed the communication here, simple as that.
What we found while adding multi-server guild functionality to the addon was a bug that led to this popup appearing in instances when it was not supposed to. Clearly, our fix led to it also not showing when *you needed it to*. We need to find out how you all were using the addons so we could then make sure to show the popup when you needed it, but not in the other instances.
We presented that in a way that made sense to us, and I can totally see why our phrasing would be off-putting for you all. It was a poorly chosen phrase and communication style that doesn't really describe the problem. We were trying to figure out exactly how you had it configured and exactly how it was being used. We didn't take the time to communicate that properly. That's on me. If you all will allow me to restart the dialog on this it would be most kind of you.
Ebbie, we absolutely want to support your usage and I think I understand what is happening that leads to the issue, but I need a bit more info. Can we get on a voice server sometime soon and talk through some questions I have? It would be better to do it interactively then to wait for forum post lag times and deal with the limitations of text communication.
Again, my apologies for the poor communication, please work with me to make this right.

Thx for the response and the Olive Branch.
I realized after reading over your responses that you thought we were using the fully automated bidding system, where raiders would type in their bids and the system would automatically record the highest bid. If that were the case, no, we would not need the additional means of typing in the winning bid. That would be an annoying redundancy. So I see now where you were coming from.
I have a number of reasons for not being able to fully utilize the automated bidding system: (1) people bid what they don’t have (2) I get a “WAIT NO! I want to change my bid” – an automated system can’t accept 2-3 changes of mind, (3) I get “I want the item as a side-grade but if someone needs for a major upgrade, I pass”. An automated system cannot handle an if/then situation. An automated system cannot be paused for a (4) WAAAAA “I need more time! I don’t know if that piece is better than what I have!” Or a (5) “WAIT I’m killing trash here wait a sec, I want to bid” or a (6) “I’m back now, I had to bio, here’s my bid now “(yes, give me strength). (7) I have to wait on DCs that occur at loot distribution time. (8) I have to intercede at times and say that item has haste and crit - you need mastery and multistrike. Let’s send that to someone who needs those stats. (9) 40min later i get a whisper - "o that belt is much better for me than this one i just got - can i exchange it and you just give this on to the next higher bidder?" (10) 10 min later, "This is not as good an upgrade as I thought it would be - can I give it back and get my dkp back?" The list is non-ending.
There are many reasons why I cannot let the looting system be totally automated. That’s why I’m (and probably others) are asking for a way to manually enter winning bids. Because we have a myriad of things happening prior to the actual winning bid recording on an item of loot.
I’m available to discuss most anytime except when I’m in a raid. Might be best to say when I cannot chat. That would be Mon/Tues/Wed till from about 6:00pm till 11:00pm cst and Sunday from 5:30pm cst till around 11:30pm cst. So, Thurs/Friday/Sat are good days and nights for me. Any day-time meeting would work fine also.
Thank you for the opportunity to work this out. I needed that hand you just extended.
I want to apologize for the poor communication we have had here. I never meant to offend or anything of the sort.
As for the missing DKP cost window, I believe we have figured out why and have fixed it. The newest versions are up on WoWInterface. This should fix the issue for you, but we cannot be 100% sure until you give the addon a shot.
Let us know how it works out for you! I am sending you a PM now with more information.
